“We do not stop playing because we grow old; we grow old because we stop playing.”
We have been putting this zine together for nearly 13 years and we truly hope we have touched all of you many wonderful people in some way. You have each held a piece in the puzzle of our history. In Issue 1, we took you back through the years and reflected on where we have been. Check out some highlights from past issues and read some of our favorite visions of what it means to be BrilliantlyMad.
Being BrilliantlyMad is a lifestyle, not just a fancy concept of utopia. It’s not a religion or demanding you to like one thing or do another. Remember that maneuvering through life in the mind’s eye is such a beautiful place to be. You don’t have to be a celebrity or in the top of your class to enjoy it. You are in control of every part of your existence starting from birth by just recalling what really happened. There exists, between everyone, a force of nature.
We can imagine what kinds of energies there are and why things happen the way they do but we never have absolute control over any environment. What we can do is adapt to our surroundings, do what is right and hopefully we can fulfill this mission we call life. Your perception is half the knowledge. Reality is the other. Just like knowing something doesn’t compare to experiencing it.
It’s time to get real about life. It’s time to find out the truths holding to the ropes that tie us down. It’s time to make peace with your families and go home. Come together right now and make a better tomorrow. If there is any one thing that BrilliantlyMad wants from you, it is your commitment to becoming a better human for the remainder of your life.
It’s up to each and every one of you to determine your own fate, yet we hope to inspire each of you to do remarkable things. The past events and zines were stepping-stones to where we are now. Only time shall see where we end up.
You have been chosen by fate to showcase your talents and skills for the improvement of life on Earth. We have lived amongst the destruction of morals, values and humanity itself for as long as time can show. We have been deprived of personal freedoms as a citizen, respect as neighbors and love as humans. It seems that even future generations have already been sold out. Our stressful society brainwashes us to market everything like corporate money hungry pigs, and use this money like a respiratory system sustaining our consumption.
In order to combat ignorance, we have dedicated this media to helping people find themselves out of the matrix.
May the love be with you, The BrilliantlyMad Crew
"With a personal touch and a global expression, participation for the purification of our national and global sovereignty is requested with urgency. Just as many individual flavors must blend to achieve the final taste treat, it is through the effective blending of the ideas and special talents of all our members that will assure our global and zonal success."
