Sara began belly dancing 8 years ago with Isis Panthea. For the last 4 years she has made a living dancing traditional and fusion belly dance at events and venues of art, education, and entertainment. Belly dance movements mirror the waves, spirals, circles, and infinities of the Universe at work. Daily doses of Wuji, yoga, pilates, and hoop dancing blend to make a unique and fluid belly dancer.

Summer is winding down, and we're beginning to integrate some of the lessons and changes that have occurred in our lives and relationships. With all the challenges, we're still here! Time to relish what remains of the good weather and appreciate the beauty, and the people, which surround us and share our world. Problems and drama still abound, but we can look at things now with a certain detachment, simplicity and appreciation for the gifts. For the 'gift' is the 'present'. For our Burning Man Friends out on the desert, may the flames arise and cleanse! For ourselves still here, perhaps just time to mellow out, enjoy and dig a little deeper into the possibilities.
Shamanic Dreaming Circles meet near Evanston in Chicago. $10 to $20 contribution requested. Snacks to share appreciated. Descriptions of group session topic are generally provided by email prior to the session. Dates and times subject to change; Fri & Sat usually start at 7:30, Sun at 6.
